The Workshop on “Sentence patterns in Professional Writing” took place on 24th November 2021 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The venue was Lecture Hall 02, Department of Bio Science, University of Vavuniya, Pambaimadu. The workshop was for Management Assistants, Technical Officers and similar categories of staff of the University.
Ms. Subajana Jeyaseelan served as the resource person for this workshop. She is a Senior Lecturer Gr. I in English in the Department of English Language Teaching, University of Vavuniya. All participants very much appreciated her presentation. Moreover, they gained knowledge about the transitive and intransitive forms. They also learned the seven basic sentence patterns in English.
