The University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, will hold a Walk-in Interview for several Temporary Assistant Lecturer posts on 15th September 2026 at the Board Room, Faculty of Business Studies, Pambaimadu, Vavuniya.

Vacancies and Interview Schedule
- Department of Finance and Accountancy: Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Finance and Accountancy — 9:00 a.m.
- Department of Management & Entrepreneurship: Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Management & Entrepreneurship — 10:30 a.m.
- Department of Marketing Management: Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Marketing Management — 12:00 noon
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree with specialization in the relevant subject, as per UGC Commission Circular No. 721, available on the UGC website (www.ugc.ac.lk).
Method of Recruitment
The university will conduct recruitment through a structured interview.
Salary and Allowances
The fixed salary for Temporary Assistant Lecturer posts is Rs. 85,305/-. The university will pay this salary based on UGC Commission Circular No. 02/2025(i), and will also pay allowances approved by the University Grants Commission in addition to the salary.
