The Staff Development Centre of University of Vavuniya organized the Workshop on “Audit Practices” on 15th February 2023. It ran from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm at the Balakrishnan Block, Faculty of Business Studies and University of Vavuniya, for All permanent Staff.
Mr. G.Thevagnanan, Retired Deputy Auditor General, served as the Resource person for this Workshop. Participants gained more knowledge about the National Audit Act, Scope of Audit, Auditing Standards and Powers, Duties and Functions of the Auditor General.
Participants verified and discussed about the internal and external audit. They also discussed the difference in objectives and work.
