The Staff Development Centre, University of Vavuniya, organized the Workshop on “Student Counselling & Mentoring” on 24th April 2024. It ran from 01.30 pm to 04.30 pm at the Smart Lecture Hall, Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya. Academic and other relevant staff attended.
Dr. Poongothai Selvarajan, Senior Lecturer in Management, Department of Management & Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, served as the resource person for this workshop. A total of 29 participants participated under this session.
Participants greatly benefited from this workshop on Student Counselling & Mentoring. They gained insights into the importance of guidance and counseling among students, particularly in universities. They learned about the counseling process itself and acquired valuable mentoring skills. The interactive session helped participants address their practical difficulties effectively.
