Workshop on Procurement Procedures

The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized the Workshop on “Procurement Procedures”. It took place on 16th November 2022 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The venue was the Balakrishnan Block (BH3 Hall), Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya. The workshop was for all permanent staff.
Mr. N. Rajavisahan, Registrar of the University of Vavuniya, served as the resource person for this workshop. Participants gained more knowledge about the related institutions, procurement committees and their functions, procurement preparedness and planning, and bidding documents. They also discussed the tendering and competitive bidding process.
