The Staff Development Centre of Vavuniya Campus organized a workshop on “Administrative Regulations pertaining to University System”. It took place on 22nd March 2019, from 9.00 am to 11.00 am. The venue was the Balakrishnan Block of Vavuniya Campus, Pambaimadu. Academic and administrative staff attended.
Mr. Joufer Sadique served as the resource person. He is a Council member and the former Registrar of the University of Moratuwa. Staff took an active part and shared the practical problems they face at work.
Participants gained more knowledge about several topics. These included the administrative system of universities and leave entitlements. They also covered the recruitment of university staff and the main features of the Universities Act.
