The Workshop on “Striving for quality and relevance in University Education and Research:
The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized the Workshop on “Striving for quality and relevance in University Education and Research: Some Strategic Choices”. It took place on 17th January 2024 from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The venue was the Smart Lecture Hall, Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya. The workshop was for the permanent Academic staff and Executive staff.
Prof. Nadarajah Sriskandarajah served as the resource person. He is Professor Emeritus in Environmental Communication at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the global education system. Moreover, they developed their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through this workshop.
