Workshop on PhD Proposal Writing & selecting the Best Universities in Abroad

The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized the Workshop on “PhD Proposal Writing & Selecting the Best Universities Abroad”. It took place on 25th May 2022 from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The venue was LH1, Department of Bio-Science, Faculty of Applied Science, Pambaimadu. The workshop was for Academic and Academic Support Staff.

Dr. W. H. M. S. Samarathunga served as the resource person for this workshop. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. Participants gained more knowledge about how to write an attractive PhD proposal and how to select the best university. They also learned about funds for a PhD and scholarships. This workshop enhanced the knowledge of academics and encouraged them to pursue a PhD.
