The Workshop on “Financial regulations and Audit system in Universities” was held on 24th July 2020 from 9.00 am – 11.00 am to selected Academic, Administrative & Non Academic Staff at Balakrishnan Block, Faculty of Business Studies, Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna.Mr. V. Kanagasabapathy, Retired Director General of Public Enterprises and Council Member of the University of Jaffna, served as the resource person. Participants gained more knowledge about the regulatory framework governing the University System. They also learned about the Principles of Good Governance, Accountability and Delegation of Authority. In addition, they studied the Financial Management Guidelines in the University System. They preferred an advanced workshop on this topic.
