Workshop on “Preparing the University of Vavuniya’s Strategic Plan for the period of 2023–2027.”

The workshop was hosted by the Strategic Planning and Monitoring Committee (SPMC) of the University of Vavuniya on the 23^rd of September, 2022, from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, at Renaham Hall, A9 Road, Thandikulam, Vavuniya, to prepare the university’s strategic plan for the period of 2023–2027. Prof. Gamini Senanayake, Emeritus professor and chairman of the council for agricultural research policy in Sri Lanka, led the workshop as a resource person. The vice-chancellor of the University of Vavuniya, SPMC committee members, academic administrators, executive staff, professors, faculty board external members, and council members participated in this workshop. The participants actively collaborated with the resource person and worked together to review and develop the existing strategic plan of the university of Vavuniya.

The workshop was held on 23rd September 2022, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., at Renaham Hall, A9 Road, Thandikulam, Vavuniya. The event focused on reviewing the existing strategic framework and preparing a comprehensive plan for the future.

The University of Vavuniya Strategic Plan Workshop 2023–2027 brought together key academic and administrative stakeholders to ensure a collaborative planning process.

Resource Person

The workshop was led by Prof. Gamini Senanayake, Emeritus Professor and Chairman of the Council for Agricultural Research Policy in Sri Lanka.

He served as the resource person and guided the discussions on strategic planning, offering expert insights and practical approaches
