The University of Vavuniya hosted the SLASSCOM IT BPM Career Fair in collaboration with the Northern Chamber of IT (NCIT). The event connected IT students with leading industry employers.
More than 20 leading ICT and Business Operations Management companies participated. Wiley Global Technology, CodeGen, and Fortitude attended the fair. VitalHub Innovations Lab, BCS Technology, and SimCentric also took part. Other participants included 99X, AICPA & CIMA, Axcenz, EYEPAX, and Creative Software.
The SLASSCOM IT BPM Career Fair focused on securing jobs for IT and ICT students. It targeted students from institutions of higher education across the region. The event created awareness about career opportunities in the Communication Industry and Business Operations Management.
Students gained valuable exposure to industry professionals. Companies conducted sample interviews during the event. They also collected resumes from interested candidates.
This SLASSCOM IT BPM Career Fair served as a platform for the biggest career fair planned for the Northern Province. It gave students a competitive advantage in the job market.
