The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Vavuniya successfully organized an inspiring workshop titled “Think. Build. Launch: A Step-by-Step Guide to Taking Your Idea to Market” on 5th August 2025 at SH4, Faculty of Business Studies.
The session was conducted by Dr. Sabesan Sithamparanathan, OBE, Founder and President of PervasID, UK. He is an internationally recognized innovator and entrepreneur.
Student Participation
The workshop attracted over 220 students from all three faculties of the University of Vavuniya.
This strong participation reflected high student interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. It also showed their motivation to transform ideas into real-world business ventures.

Dr. Sabesan shared his entrepreneurial journey. He explained the challenges and milestones of building a global technology company.
