Notice on Selection Interview for the Post of Technical Officer (ICT) Gr.III

The University of Vavuniya, Pampaimedu, has officially scheduled the Technical Officer ICT interview for 15th May 2026. Therefore, we are issuing this notice to inform all shortlisted candidates about the date, venue, and specific instructions for the upcoming selection interview for the post of Technical Officer (ICT) Grade III.

Currently, the university has dispatched individual invitation letters to eligible candidates via registered post. The selection interview will take place on the exact date and time specified in your personal invitation letter.

Technical Officer ICT Interview: The Selection Process

The Establishments Branch has already completed the Selection Examination (Written and Practical) for the post of Technical Officer (ICT) Gr. III. Consequently, the university is calling only the candidates who successfully passed these examinations to attend the final selection interview. Please note that if you have not received an official invitation letter, you are not eligible to attend.

Essential Interview Instructions

All shortlisted candidates attending the Technical Officer ICT interview at the University of Vavuniya are required to follow the instructions below:

You are required to be present at the above venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
You are required to bring your National Identity Card or Passport along with the invitation letter to prove your identity.
You are required to bring all original educational and other relevant qualification documents.
You are also required to bring any original additional qualification documents, if applicable.

Required documents checklist

To ensure a smooth process, candidates should verify they have the following documents ready before arriving at the Technical Officer ICT interview:

National Identity Card or valid Passport
Original invitation letter issued by the University of Vavuniya
All original educational certificates and academic transcripts
Original certificates of relevant professional qualifications
Any additional qualification documents applicable to the post

Failure to produce any of the above documents may result in disqualification from the interview process.

Important Notes for Candidates

The decision of the Selection Committee and Authorities shall be final and binding on all candidates.
No travelling or other expenses incurred in connection with this selection interview will be reimbursed by the University of Vavuniya.
Candidates are strongly advised to review all instructions in their invitation letter before attending.
