The University of Vavuniya announces that degree certificates and photographs from the 39th Convocation are now available for collection. Therefore, all students who were awarded degrees at the 39th Convocation must collect their degree certificates and photographs from the Examinations Branch as soon as possible. Furthermore, students must carefully follow the conditions outlined below to successfully collect their documents.
Collection Period for 39th Convocation Degree Certificates
Students can collect their 39th Convocation degree certificates and photographs from the Examinations Branch of the University of Vavuniya from 19th May 2025 to 30th May 2025. Moreover, collection is available on weekdays only, from 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM. Therefore, students must plan their visit accordingly and ensure they arrive within the specified hours.
Conditions for Collection
The University of Vavuniya has set clear conditions for collecting degree certificates from the 39th Convocation. Consequently, all students must meet these requirements before receiving their documents.
First, the concerned student must be present in person to collect their degree certificate. Then, if the student is unable to attend in person, a blood relative or spouse may collect on their behalf. However, they must bring a duly completed authorization letter from the student. Additionally, the receipt for returning the cloak and garland must be presented. This receipt can be obtained from the Academic Affairs and Publications Branch. Furthermore, students must bring their University ID card and a recommendation letter from the Examinations Branch when visiting for collection.
