The Faculty of Applied Science at the University of Vavuniya announces that Applied Science Admission Cards for the First Semester Examinations – January/February 2024 are now ready for collection. Therefore, all students sitting the forthcoming examinations must collect their cards during office hours. Furthermore, students must produce their Student Record Book when collecting admission cards at the Office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Applied Science.

Applied Science Admission Cards – Covered Examinations

These Applied Science Admission Cards cover the following First Semester 2022 examinations scheduled for January/February 2024:

  • First, Second, Third, and Fourth Examinations in Applied Mathematics and Computing
  • First, Second, and Third Examinations in Computer Science
  • First, Second, Third, and Fourth Examinations in Environmental Science
  • First, Second, and Third Examinations in Information Technology

Consequently, students from all four subject streams must collect their respective admission cards before the examination dates.

How to Collect Your Admission Card

Students must visit the Office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Applied Science during regular office hours. Specifically, bring your Student Record Book as it is mandatory for collecting admission cards. Moreover, students without their Record Book will not receive their cards.

In addition, the Assistant Registrar’s office has enclosed admission cards for distribution through the faculty. Therefore, students should act promptly and not wait until the last minute.

Important Reminders

All students appearing for the First Semester Examinations should note the following:

  • Collect your Applied Science Admission Cards well before the examination date
  • Carry both your Admission Card and Student Identity Card to the examination hall
  • Report any errors on your admission card to the office immediately
  • Late collection does not guarantee availability before the examination
