The Social Reconciliation Webinar Vavuniya took place on 3rd January 2022 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm via Zoom. World University Friends (WUF) organised this powerful online event in collaboration with the Harmony Center at the University of Vavuniya. The webinar carried the theme Going Beyond Territories of the Mind to Create a Harmonious World Towards Social Reconciliation. Participants from across Sri Lanka and beyond joined this thought-provoking session to explore paths toward unity, healing, and peace.

The Social Reconciliation Webinar Vavuniya opened a meaningful dialogue on one of the most important challenges facing Sri Lanka today. The theme challenged participants to move beyond mental and cultural boundaries that divide communities. It invited reflection on how individuals, institutions, and societies can build genuine harmony through understanding, empathy, and shared purpose.

Resource persons and panellists guided participants through key ideas around reconciliation, coexistence, and peacebuilding.
