About the Vice Chancellor’s Visit to CSIBER
CSIBER is a well-established institute in India, known for its programmes in business education and research. The University of Vavuniya’s continued engagement with international institutions like CSIBER reflects its broader commitment to academic collaboration and knowledge exchange. Visits of this kind allow senior academics to share their expertise on a global stage while also learning from the practices of leading institutions abroad. This exchange, in turn, strengthens the University of Vavuniya’s own academic and administrative practices, benefiting both staff and students in the long run.
Conference Participation
During the conference, Professor Atputharajah delivered a keynote speech on Innovation and Sustainability: Reimagining and Repositioning in Business, Information Technology, Environment, and Society. His keynote addressed how institutions across sectors can rethink their approaches to innovation while keeping sustainability at the forefront of decision-making.
Additional Engagements During the CSIBER Visit
Beyond his conference engagements, Professor Atputharajah took part in industrial visits and held discussions with CSIBER staff members. Through these interactions, he gained insights into the institute’s best practices in lecturing, industrial training, and examination processes. These insights are expected to inform future improvements at the University of Vavuniya as it continues to strengthen its own academic offerings.
