The University of Vavuniya announces two Vavuniya University Vacancies 2025 for qualified candidates. The first is a Walk-in Interview for a Temporary Assistant Lecturer in ICT. The second is an open call for applications for the post of Assistant Registrar in Legal & Documentation. Therefore, eligible candidates must act promptly before the respective deadlines.
1. Walk-in Interview – Temporary Assistant Lecturer (ICT)
The Faculty of Technological Studies invites candidates for a Walk-in Interview for the post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Information & Communication Technology.
Interview Date: 22nd July 2025 Time: 9.00 AM Venue: Board Room, Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya, Pambaimadu
Qualifications: A degree with specialisation in the relevant subject — as per UGC Commission Circular No. 721. Refer to www.ugc.ac.lk for full details.
Salary: Rs. 85,305/- (Fixed) Additional allowances approved by the University Grants Commission will also be paid.

The University of Vavuniya invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Assistant Registrar / Legal & Documentation on a contract basis.

Qualifications — Option 1: An Attorney-at-Law with a degree in Law/Legal Studies and at least two (02) years of experience in court work, legal work, and drafting legal documentation in a state institution, corporation, or reputable private sector organization.
Qualifications — Option 2: An Attorney-at-Law with at least three (03) years of experience in court work, legal work, and drafting legal documentation in a state institution, corporation, or reputable private sector organization.
Salary: Rs. 117,977/- (Fixed) Method of Recruitment: Structured interview Contract Period: Initially six months, extendable thereafter
