Contract Agreement Signing Ceremony with CAiT Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAiT

The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) facilitated a Contract Agreement Signing Ceremony between the University of Vavuniya and CAiT Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAiT). The ceremony took place on 14 September 2026 at the IT Centre Board Room, University of Vavuniya.

The two parties signed the agreement for the Waste Composition Survey and Analysis under the KOICA Sri Lanka Integrated Solid Waste Management Project – Vavuniya District, Northern Province.

The initiative will support the collection and analysis of waste composition data in the Vavuniya District. This will help planners develop more effective solid waste management practices for the region.

KTTO, University of Vavuniya, organized the ceremony. The event marks another step toward strengthening collaboration and advancing sustainable waste management in the region.
