The Faculty of Business Studies at the University of Vavuniya signed the UNDP Agreement Vavuniya on 19th December 2022. The signing took place at 10.00 AM in the Boardroom of the University. This agreement was made with the United Nations Development Programme.
The UNDP Agreement Vavuniya aims to develop youth leadership capacities. It focuses on the northern and eastern provinces of Sri Lanka. This initiative will empower young people through structured leadership programmes.
The Faculty of Business Studies plays a key role in this collaboration. The faculty brings academic expertise in management, leadership, and community development. This partnership strengthens the university’s commitment to social impact and community service.
The UNDP brings global expertise in youth development and governance. Together with the University of Vavuniya, it will design and deliver leadership training programmes. Young people in northern and eastern Sri Lanka will directly benefit from this initiative.
