As per the schedule, the tournament commenced at 8.30 a.m. with an opening speech on the rules and regulations delivered by the Team Captain.
The matches began promptly and were conducted smoothly throughout the day. The Novices Matches were held from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., followed by the Intermediate Matches from 12.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. All matches were carried out according to the planned schedule and concluded on time without any delays.
The Awarding Ceremony commenced at 3.00 p.m. The distinguished guests for the event were Instructress Mrs. Thushyanthy and the Vice President of the Leo Club, University of Vavuniya, Mr. Indusara Rusith.
The ceremony began with the distribution of participation certificates to all players by the guests. Following this, certificates were awarded to the winners in recognition of their achievements.
The event concluded with an address by the Chief Guest. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by the Table Tennis Team Captain, marking the successful completion of the tournament.
