The University of Vavuniya hosted the Table Tennis Championship Vavuniya 2025 on 21st and 22nd June 2025. The two-day event took place at the university’s Indoor Complex. Both male and female students actively participated and delivered commendable performances throughout the competition. Mr. L. Ram Ramanan, Bursar of the University of Vavuniya, served as Chief Guest on the first day of the Table Tennis Championship Vavuniya. His presence underscored the university’s commitment to promoting sports and student well-being. The event drew strong participation from students across all faculties, many of whom competed in both singles and doubles categories.
The two-day tournament featured intense and closely contested matches. Consequently, players demonstrated high levels of skill, concentration, and competitive spirit throughout both days.

Two days after the event, a prize-giving ceremony was held to honour the winners. The following officials presented awards to the champions and runners-up:
