The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA), in collaboration with University Student Associations (OSC) Sri Lanka, invites applications for the Student Ambassador Child Protection National Programme 2025. This prestigious initiative is open to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year undergraduate students at the University of Vavuniya. Furthermore, it offers a unique opportunity to volunteer and make a meaningful difference in child protection across Sri Lanka.
About the Student Ambassador Child Protection Programme
The Student Ambassador Child Protection programme trains university students to become active advocates for child safety and welfare. In addition, it empowers young people to lead awareness campaigns and support child protection initiatives at the community level. This national programme reflects a collaborative effort between the NCPA and university student associations across Sri Lanka.
Participants gain valuable leadership experience, exposure to child protection frameworks, and the opportunity to contribute to a nationwide cause that protects the most vulnerable members of society.
Who Can Apply?
This programme is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year undergraduate at a Sri Lankan university
- Passionate about child protection and community service
- Willing to volunteer and participate actively in the programme
