The Special Management Development Programme (SMDP) was a full-time, two-day programme held at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on 29th and 30th December 2025, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. A total of 33 participants comprising academic and executive staff of the University of Vavuniya took part in this enriching learning experience.

The programme was designed to enable participants to recognize key learning points, reflect on their application in the workplace, and relate them to their respective roles with practical relevance.
