PROCUREMENT NOTICE – Supply, Delivery and Installation of All-In-One Desktop Computer-Amended Bidding Document (08.09.2025)

The Vice Chancellor, University of Vavuniya, on behalf of the Department Procurement Committee, issues this amended procurement notice for the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of All-In-One Desktop Computers (UV/F/NCB/05/2025). Accordingly, the University invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders under the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.

Eligibility Criteria

First of all, bidders must have at least five (05) years of experience in supplying and delivering computer hardware or related ICT equipment in Sri Lanka. Therefore, only experienced suppliers are encouraged to apply.

However, a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 must be paid to any branch of the Bank of Ceylon in favor of the University of Vavuniya.

Moreover, the bank deposit slip must be attached with the bid submission.

Bid Submission Details

Furthermore, bidders must submit bids in original and duplicate copies. These should be addressed to:

In addition, the sealed envelope must clearly indicate:

Bid Security

Similarly, all bids must include a valid Bid Security in favor of the Vice Chancellor, University of Vavuniya. This security must remain valid for 119 days from the date of bid opening.

Moreover, the University will hold a pre-bid meeting as follows:

Submission Method

In addition, bidders may submit bids by depositing them in the Tender Box at the Bursar’s Office, or by sending them via Registered Post or Courier. Importantly, all bids must reach the University before the deadline.

Finally, the University will open bids at:

2.30 p.m. on 17.09.2025

Furthermore, bidders or their authorized representatives may attend the bid opening session.

Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. Therefore, bidders are advised to submit their documents on time.
