NCD Screening Programme 2023 at University of Vavuniya

The NCD Screening Programme 2023 was successfully conducted by the Health Centre of the University of Vavuniya on 19 April 2023. The programme focused on promoting health awareness and encouraging the early detection of non-communicable diseases among university staff members.

A total of 92 staff members participated in the screening programme. The Health Centre carried out several health screening activities to identify common non-communicable diseases and related health risks. The programme helped participants understand their current health condition and encouraged them to maintain healthier lifestyles.

The NCD Screening Programme 2023 aimed to improve awareness about non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and other long-term health conditions. Medical staff provided guidance and health-related advice to participants during the programme. The event also encouraged staff members to pay closer attention to regular health checkups and preventive healthcare practices.
