Name Confirmation Business Studies — Notice
This Name Confirmation Business Studies notice requests all listed Faculty of Business Studies students to confirm the spelling and spacing of their names as shown in the annexed list. The Examination Branch, University of Vavuniya, will use the confirmed name for the Transcript, Statement of Results, and Degree Certificate.
Why This Confirmation Matters
Once the university issues a Transcript or Degree Certificate, it treats the name as final. For this reason, the Name Confirmation Business Studies process gives every student a chance to catch spelling or spacing errors before these official documents are printed.
How to Request a Correction — Business Studies
Students who notice an error in their name must inform the Examination Branch through the Faculty of Business Studies AR office on or before 24th August 2026, by submitting:
- A request letter addressed to the Examination Branch
- An affidavit confirming the correct full name in English
Students should hand over these documents to the AR office at the Faculty of Business Studies. Please note that the university will not consider requests submitted after the deadline under any circumstances.
