IT Centre Computer Laboratory Officially Re-Opened

The IT Centre Computer Laboratory Reopening at the University of Vavuniya was held on 24 November 2025 at 10:30 AM. The event took place at the IT Centre Laboratory.Moreover, the ceremony marked an important milestone in strengthening digital education and technological innovation at the university.

Official Inauguration Ceremony

The laboratory reopening was officially inaugurated by Senior Professor A. Atputharajah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Vavuniya. His presence highlighted the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence. In addition, the event reflected the institution’s focus on improving digital infrastructure for students and staff.

Modern Facilities for Advanced Learning

The upgraded IT laboratory is equipped with high-performance MSI computers. These systems are designed to support a wide range of academic activities.
