ICAS 2025, the first International Conference on Applied Sciences organized by the Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya, was a remarkable success. With 105 submissions from local and international authors, the conference maintained strong academic standards and accepted 70% of the papers. The event brought together over 200 participants, including distinguished keynote speakers, scholars, and researchers from Sri Lanka and abroad. Focused on the theme “Blending AI and Traditional Wisdom for Sustainable National Development,” ICAS 2025 also featured a Doctoral Symposium that provided a vibrant platform for emerging researchers to share their PhD work and connect with leading experts.
