The ELTA-ELSE Faculty Development Project, AHEAD Faculty of Applied Science, organised a workshop on Plagiarism Detection Tools and Research Evaluation Metrics on 25 February 2023. The Centre for Quality Assurance collaborated in organising this event. The workshop targeted temporary staff and special degree students of the Faculty of Applied Science. Sessions ran from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Mrs. Thivya Janen, Senior Assistant Librarian, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna, served as the resource person. Around 35 members attended. Prof. A. Pushpanathan, Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance, University of Vavuniya, delivered the welcome speech. He introduced the resource person and all participants to open the session.
