Welcome to the FTS freshers orientation 2024! Congratulations on your success in securing admission for higher education. Most importantly, we extend a warm welcome to all freshers joining the Faculty of Technological Studies (FTS) at the University of Vavuniya for the academic year 2022/2023.
About the Virtual Orientation Programme
The FTS freshers orientation 2024 starts with a virtual programme we have scheduled tentatively for 15 July 2024. Specifically, this online session connects you with academic staff and advisors from the Department of ICT. Currently, we collect information from students the faculty selected for the Information Communication Technology (ICT) stream.
What Will Be Covered
In this session, we cover an introduction to the academic programmes at FTS, guidance on academic regulations and student support services, a session with ICT academic advisors, and answers to your most common questions about campus life. Furthermore, you get a chance to interact directly with your future lecturers.
How to Register
To participate, students who received admission letters from the UGC must complete the Google Form linked below on or before 10 July 2024. Before you begin, please prepare your student ID and UGC admission letter details.
Finally, the official physical welcome ceremony takes place at a later date. In the meantime, we look forward to meeting you all at the FTS freshers orientation 2024. For further updates, follow the official University of Vavuniya channels and the FTS notice board.
