The Foundation of Goodness Vavuniya visit took place on 28th December 2022 at the University of Vavuniya. Mr. Kushil Gunasekara, Director and Founder of the Foundation of Goodness, led the visiting team. Furthermore, the Australian Medical Aid Foundation team also actively joined this visit to the University of Vavuniya.
Foundation of Goodness Vavuniya – Sponsorship for ICHR 2023
The Foundation of Goodness Vavuniya team actively sponsored Rs. 250,000 for the 1st International Conference on Harmony and Reconciliation (ICHR 2023). Moreover, this generous contribution supports the Harmony Centre at the University of Vavuniya in organizing this landmark international conference. Therefore, the Foundation of Goodness plays a vital role in advancing peace, harmony and reconciliation in Sri Lanka.
Australian Medical Aid Foundation – Oral Health Unit Visit
The Australian Medical Aid Foundation team actively visited the Oral Health Unit of the University of Vavuniya during this visit. Furthermore, the team reviewed the progress and ongoing work of the Oral Health Unit. As a result, this visit strengthened the relationship between the Australian Medical Aid Foundation and the University of Vavuniya health services.
Additionally, both the Director of the Foundation of Goodness and the Doctor from the Australian Medical Aid Foundation actively participated in a tree plantation event. They planted trees in the area surrounding the IT Center building of the University of Vavuniya. Moreover, both teams also visited the university playground during their visit.
