The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) of the University of Vavuniya, in collaboration with Blue Lotus 360, successfully conducted a seminar on “Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems” on 14th October 2026 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at TLH1, Faculty of Technological Studies, with the participation of staff members and students. 

The seminar aimed to provide fundamental knowledge on ERP systems, demonstrate how they integrate key business functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Operations, and highlight their role in streamlining organizational processes, improving decision-making, and enhancing operational efficiency in the digital era. The resource persons from Blue Lotus 360 delivered an insightful presentation on the evolution, modular structure, and real-world applications of ERP, including its relevance for career development and digital transformation. The event was highly successful in strengthening industry-academia collaboration and enhancing participants’ understanding of ERP systems for their academic and professional growth.
