Welcome to the donation gallery of the University of Vavuniya. This page shares photos of tree planting and environmental activities held on campus. Donors, staff, and students supported these events, and together they help keep the campus green.
About the Donation Gallery
The donation gallery records the support the university receives from its donors and partners. Each photo shows a moment from an event, such as a tree planting ceremony or a plant nursery visit. In addition, the gallery lets visitors see how donations turn into real projects on campus.
Donation Gallery Highlights
- Day of Remembrance: tree planting and plant nurseries, organized with the Landscape & Green Environment Committee (LGEC).
- World Environment Day: staff and students planted trees together on campus.
- Committee meetings: members of the green environment committee met to plan future planting work.
Why These Events Matter
Tree planting improves the campus environment and gives students and staff a chance to work together. Moreover, these events raise awareness of environmental protection in the wider community.
