Discussion on Potential Collaboration with the University of Vavuniya

The University of Vavuniya held a strategic discussion with Ms. Shanthi Bhagirathan, Founder of the Sun Nova Tech Foundation, on 1st September 2026 at the Board Room, IT Centre, to explore collaboration with the IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation.

The discussion covered plans to develop a technology-driven ecosystem in the Northern Region, spanning research, innovation, entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence, digital technologies, industry collaboration and technology commercialization.
