Business Coaching Session for Entrepreneurs and Ideapreneurs

A Business Coaching Session for Entrepreneurs and Ideapreneurs took place on February 4, 2025, at the Board Room, IT Centre, University of Vavuniya. Mr. Kula Sellathurai, Lead Entrepreneurship and Business Coach, President of the Canada-Sri Lanka Business Convention, and CEO of Netwyn Industry, conducted the session.

Participation and Format

A total of 30 external entrepreneurs and 15 university undergraduates (ideapreneurs) participated in the Business Coaching Session. The coaching followed a common coaching method. Interactive one-on-one sessions came next. These enabled participants to receive personalized insights on business growth, idea development, and entrepreneurial strategies.

The session offered valuable guidance on business expansion, market strategies, and innovation. It fostered a strong entrepreneurial mindset among attendees. Participants actively engaged with the trainer. They discussed their business challenges and gained expert advice tailored to their specific needs.

Looking Ahead

Mr. Sellathurai expressed his willingness to continue training online in the future. He also showed interest in supporting the establishment of the proposed Marketing Centre at the University.

The Business Linkage Cell, University of Vavuniya, successfully organized the event. It gave emerging entrepreneurs essential guidance and networking opportunities. In turn, this strengthened their ability to navigate the business landscape and drive sustainable growth.
