Basic First Aid Training for students and staff was conducted in May 2023. The training was organized with the support of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, Vavuniya Branch.
The main purpose of this training was to improve awareness and practical skills in basic first aid. It helped participants understand how to respond in emergency situations before professional medical help arrives.
A total of sixty participants took part in the training session. This included both students and staff members from the institution. The training focused on essential first aid techniques such as handling injuries, emergency response, and basic life-saving procedures.
The session provided hands-on experience and guidance from trained professionals. Participants were able to learn how to act quickly and correctly during accidents or medical emergencies.
