This certificate course targets aspiring journalists. It also welcomes those already working in the media industry, potential future journalists, and digital media enthusiasts. Specifically, it strengthens professional competencies in digital media consumption. Moreover, it offers a holistic understanding across a wide range of topics. These include media convergence, global media standards, media ownership, digital radicalisation, media and hate speech, media ethics, critical consumption skills, digital applications, the evolving media landscape, misinformation, verification skills, disinformation, news literacy, media bias, and agenda setting.
