The University of Vavuniya invites sealed bids for the Canteen Tender Vavuniya University 2023/2024. Therefore, experienced caterers are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to run university canteens for one year. Furthermore, successful caterers must keep canteens open from 6.00 AM to 9.00 PM and supply quality food and beverages at specified rates.
Canteen Tender Vavuniya University – Available Locations
Bids are invited for the following four canteen locations:

Consequently, bidders may apply for one or more canteen locations depending on their capacity and experience.
How to Obtain Bidding Documents
Bidding documents including the application, terms, and conditions are available from the Student and Welfare Division, University of Vavuniya, Pampaimadu from 29th January 2024 to 12th February 2024 between 9.00 AM and 2.30 PM on weekdays. Moreover, payment of a refundable deposit of Rs. 5,000 and a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000 must be made at the Shroff Counter.
How to Submit Your Bid
Completed bidding documents must be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Bids for Canteen” on the top left-hand corner. Specifically, send by registered post to reach the Deputy Registrar, Student and Welfare Division before 2.00 PM on 19th February 2024. Alternatively, deposit in the Tender Box at the Student and Welfare Division.
Pre-Bid Meeting
A pre-bid meeting takes place on 12th February 2024 at 2.45 PM at the Office of the Deputy Registrar, Student and Welfare Division. In addition, all bidders must attend to raise any clarifications before submission.
Bids open on 19th February 2024 at 2.15 PM in the Student and Welfare Division. The university reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons. For enquiries, call Tel. No. 024-2228238.
