Rishapa Vikneswaran, 4th-year undergraduate student following Bachelor of Science Honors in Environmental Science degree program at the Department of Bio-Science, Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya, is a recipient of the SLT-MOBITEL Blue Carbon Research Scholarship valued LKR 150,000.00. This scholarship supports her research on assessment of blue carbon stocks in the Mandaitivu Salt Marsh Ecosystem, contributing to the understanding and conservation of Sri Lanka’s valuable coastal ecosystems under the supervision of Dr. K. Arjunan, Senior Lecturer, Department of Bio-Science, Faculty of Applied Science.
