Procurement Notice: Desktop Computers, Network Switches & Access Points
The Vice Chancellor, University of Vavuniya, on behalf of the Department Procurement Committee, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Desktop Computers, Network Switches & Access Points (UV/F/SK II/NCB/01/2026). The university will conduct bidding through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.
Eligibility
Bidders must have at least five years’ experience in the relevant field in Sri Lanka.
How to Obtain Bidding Documents
Interested bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding documents in English from 18.08.2026 to 10.09.2026 via the University website (www.vau.ac.lk), upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00.
Bid Submission
Bidders must deliver bids in original with duplicate to the Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, University of Vavuniya, Mannar Road, Pambaimadu, on or before 2:00 pm on 10.09.2026. Bidders must indicate the procurement reference on the left-hand corner of the envelope.
Bid Security
All bids must include a Bid Security addressed to the Vice Chancellor, issued by a licensed commercial bank registered with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid for a minimum of 119 days (up to 07.01.2027):
- Desktop Computers (20 Nos.) — LKR 170,000.00
- 24-Port POE Switch with 2 SM SFP, Indoor & Outdoor POE Access Points (2 Nos. each) — LKR 50,000.00
