The Staff Development Centre successfully conducted a two-day training programme on Public Procurement Guidelines – 2024 on 18th and 19th May 2026 at the E-Resource Section, 2nd Floor, Library Building, University of Vavuniya. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Anura Lokugamage, a well-recognized resource person in the field of public procurement in Sri Lanka. The sessions aimed to enhance the procurement knowledge and practical skills of academic, administrative, and non-academic staff, emphasizing the effective and transparent utilization of public funds in line with constitutional provisions and public sector regulations. The programme also contributed to minimizing unnecessary audit queries through improved understanding of procurement procedures and best practices.
