About the UBL Cell Director Post
he University Business Linkages (UBL) Cell connects the university with industry partners. Therefore, the cell develops strong collaborations between academia and the business sector. Furthermore, it strengthens industry ties in the Northern Province.
As a result, the appointed Director will lead the UBL Cell on a part-time basis.

Eligibility for the UBL Cell Director Post
To apply, you must hold the rank of Senior Lecturer Grade II/I or above. The university therefore requires an experienced academic for this role. You can obtain the prescribed application form from the Establishments Branch. Alternatively, you can download it from the official website at www.vau.ac.lk.
Appointment Terms
The university will appoint the selected candidate for three years. Consequently, the selected candidate will receive a monthly allowance of Rs. 1,500/-.
How to Apply
The prescribed application form should be completed by applicants.
First, a recommendation must be obtained from the Head of the Department. A further recommendation must then be obtained from the Dean of the Faculty.
After the required recommendations have been obtained, the completed application form should be submitted to the Establishments Branch.
Applications must be received by the branch on or before 05.06.2026.
