In honor of the upcoming 2026 Sinhala and Tamil Newyear, The Physical Education Unit of the University of Vavuniya has Organized a regional Kilithattu Tournament for school students across Vanni Region, including Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, Mannar and Mullaitivu Districts. To secure the necessary sponsorship and support for the event, a formal meeting was held today, February 23,2026, at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office with representatives from the Vanni Hope Organization.
