The Faculty Elle Tournament 2026 took place on 4 February 2026 at the University of Vavuniya grounds. The Vavuniya University Students’ Union organized this event in collaboration with the Physical Education Unit. Furthermore, the tournament commemorated Sri Lanka’s Independence Day. A total of 9 teams participated in the competition. After a series of exciting matches, the 2nd-year team from the Faculty of Technological Studies emerged as the winners.
The Faculty Elle Tournament 2026 marked Sri Lanka’s Independence Day and brought students together through traditional sports. The university grounds filled with energy as students from different faculties gathered to cheer on their teams. The Physical Education Unit provided technical support and equipment. Additionally, the Students’ Union managed the event coordination effectively.
The 9 participating teams showed great sportsmanship and skill. Moreover, the matches were highly competitive and drew a large crowd of spectators. The 2nd-year students from the Faculty of Technological Studies performed brilliantly throughout the day. Their teamwork and strategy led them to a well-deserved victory in the final round. This event successfully promoted physical fitness and school spirit among the university community.
