University of Vavuniya actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Run 2025, organized by the Consulate General of India in Jaffna on Sunday, 28th September 2025. A spirited team of ten enthusiastic runners—A.Jacob, M.Thilagan, S.Sujith, S.Manoj, Sriharan, Kajeevan, Dilrukshan, Thakshan, Achini, and Gowshiya—represented our university with remarkable energy, determination, and team spirit. The event saw over 70 participants gather at the Jaffna Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre, embarking on a vibrant run through the heart of the city.
Along the route, runners passed iconic landmarks including the Jaffna Public Library, Duraiappa Stadium, Jaffna Fort, and Pannai Bridge, making the experience both memorable and meaningful.
