The University of Vavuniya Friendly Volleyball Match 2025 was successfully held on 19th September 2025 at the University of Vavuniya Volleyball Court. The friendly encounter brought together the University of Vavuniya community and officials from the Indian Embassy in a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and international friendship.

Atputharajah, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Vavuniya, and Mr. Rajavishagan, Registrar of the University. In addition, officials from the Indian Consulate, university staff members, and students attended the event and encouraged the players throughout the match.
At the end of the competition, the organizers awarded the winning team with a championship trophy and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance and sportsmanship. Moreover, the ceremony highlighted the importance of unity, friendship, and healthy competition among institutions.
