Open Forum for Intellectual Discussion on Experience Sharing for University Academics
The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized the “Open Forum for Intellectual Discussion on Experience Sharing for University Academics“. It took place on January 1, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The venue was the Smart Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
The forum gave academics an open and collaborative platform. They held meaningful discussions, shared experiences and exchanged innovative ideas. They also transferred knowledge between departments.
The main goal was to strengthen academic excellence and foster professional development. This contributes to the overall growth of the institution.
The recent CQA workshop also highlighted the forum’s purpose. The Centre planned it to support the university’s preparations for the Institutional Review in 2025.
