The Staff Development Centre of the University of Vavuniya organized a webinar on “Institutional Review” on 11.11.2024 from 06.00 pm to 7.00pm. Academic and non-academic staff directly involved in quality assurance attended the webinar. Nearly 70 participants took part.
Prof. G. Mikunthan served as the resource person for this workshop. He is the Former Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Senior Professor in Agricultural Biology, Dept of Agricultural Biology, University of Jaffna.
During the webinar, participants gained valuable insights into the criteria for institutional review. They also learned about the marking system and the types of evidence required. The session provided clear guidance on how to achieve the marks in the review process. It helped staff members understand the key factors to focus on for successful evaluation.
