Hindi Language Programme

The Cultural Centre, University of Vavuniya, is excited to announce the launch of the Hindi Language Programme, organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of India. This new initiative gives students and staff the opportunity to learn a widely spoken international language.

About the Programme

The programme is designed to introduce participants to Hindi in a structured, beginner-friendly format. Classes take place on weekends, making the course accessible to both students and staff with busy weekday schedules. This initiative reflects the Cultural Centre’s ongoing effort to promote language learning and cultural exchange within the university community, and it builds on the university’s growing ties with the Consulate General of India.

Learning a new language opens doors beyond the classroom. Hindi, one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, offers practical value for those interested in travel, business, or cultural exchange with India. Participants who complete the course will gain a foundational understanding of Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, giving them a solid base to continue learning independently after the programme ends.
